Hull Civic Society celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2024. This new tribute film about the City of Kingston upon Hull has been produced with the help of Octovision Media to show how our city has changed in the last 6 decades.

It has also been 60 years since the closure of the Hull to Hornsea and Withernsea rail lines and the demise of Hull’s trolleybuses, all lost in October 1964.

This compilation of new and old film footage pays tribute to both eras.
